The a2 Milk Company is delighted to announce a significant donation of a2 Platinum® Infant Formula to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is one of the world’s largest social welfare organisations and helps more than 1 million Australians every year.
The a2 Milk Company supports the protection and promotion of breastfeeding as the unequivocal way to feed an infant, providing the optimal balance of nutrition and protection during infant growth and development. However, depending on individual circumstances, exclusively breastfeeding may not always be possible at various stage of an infant’s development. If breastfeeding is not possible and you have an infant to feed, this can trigger additional stress.
This donation allows for The Salvation Army to provide infant formula to families facing crisis and struggling to meet immediate needs.
The Salvation Army is grateful for the donation from The a2 Milk Company. Spokesperson for The Salvation Army Major Wayne Pittaway said,
“When you’re facing a crisis, the burden of not being able to feed your infant can affect many other areas of life including self-esteem, dignity and mental health. This donation will go a long way in helping families in need.”
