The a2 Milk Company Limited (“Company“) requests a trading halt be applied to our securities under ASX Listing Rule 17.1 and NZX Main Board Listing Rule 5.4.1(a) and sets out below details of the request as per the rules of each of ASX and NZX.
We would like the trading halt to commence with immediate effect in respect of all ordinary shares quoted on ASX and NZX.
Reasons for trading halt: We are requesting this trading halt to allow completion of the bookbuild for an institutional placement to be announced to ASX and NZX today (“Placement”).
How long we want the trading halt to last: We expect the trading halt to be in place until commencement of trading on ASX and NZX on 12 October 2015 or until its earlier announcement concerning completion of the Placement.
The event we expect to happen that will end the trading halt: Announcement concerning completion of the Placement.
We confirm that we are not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
